One can dream  .....

So a patriot might be for you. That's basically what a patriot is plus some other changes. The problem with using the TriStar body is there's not enough room to fit a central vacuum motor that would actually give it more power.

Now you could probably fit a single stage Domel motor in there. That would probably be the best option for making more power. The other struggle is the bag systems fairly restrictive. Yes you could run the HEPA Vac America bags and that would help.

I'm now a little curious of the concept myself. Next time I see a TriStar with a bad motor maybe I'll set it aside for such a Frankenstein project.

If they were to try and fit a bypass central vac motor in it, they'd need to completely redesign the tank. Those central vac motors are HUGE! But if they were to try and put a thru-flow central vac motor in it, that could maybe work since those motors are much smaller. Unfortunately I know Aerus will never do that because they quit making Tristars a few years ago (could be out of the vacuum business all together real soon). I remember former VL and YouTube user twocvbloke when he imported his Tristar CXL over to Europe from the USA, he swapped his 120 volt motor out for a 240 volt one, I'm not sure what kind of motor it was but it said that made his Tristar almost twice as powerful. That's another idea is importing over a 240 volt motor from Europe.

Damn

That's like a 15 amp or bugger motor. Dayton has a shop vac with 15 amps but I highly doubt it's close to the power.
