I'm sorry gents but IMO that is the most attractive Convertible i've ever seen, possibly barring Seamus's weird greeny yellow flowery bag one lol.

Hmmm

I'm not fond of the plastique base Convertibles, I've threatened Tom many times that I would rebuild that anniversary machine on a Guardsman polished aluminum base, it would look SO much nicer!!

Terry those dirt cups are dreadful, very messy to empty!

Jeff...

And destroy an original machine??? I could not let that happen to it. While I agree that it would look nice, the good folks at Hoover never intended the machine to be built like that. They wanted it on a "QUALITY" "PLASTIC" base instead, which everyone knows is much better!! (laying it on pretty thick here...) If you put it on a Guardsman base then I am sure it would be your favorite. Then I would have to send it to Roselle. LOL!!!!!

Those dirt cups are terrible. Our custodian has two dust cup commercial models and they leak everywhere. They both leaked since day one. I much prefer a bagged machine as they are much cleaner to use in the long run.

Like I said.... and trash the super very nice most excellent sturdy plastic base??? Why it would not be the same machine! And by the way...thanks for sending it! I found the box for it later on at a flea market in Buffalo. Calling Buffalo-Joe, remember that day???

It's funny, I think the reason I like it is because it actually has the same colour scheme as (UK at least) hoover service vans/boxes and the like from the 1980s lol..
