A JCPenney Dial A Matic...

Here is one of my latest aquisitions. It is a JCPenney Dial a Matic from 1977. This is one of the last models made for Penneys as the whole series of cleaners was discontinued by 1978 to make way for the Hoover Concept series. This one is in beautiful condition and used very little. It still has its original cord with the Hoover square plug, and it is still sweeping with its original red brushes on the agitator. I just thought someone might like to see one of these beauties. Notice that the front panel is slightly different than the "regular" Hoover version.

Here is the same machine with its older sister. There is just a color difference and the dark brown one uses the older Hoover plug. They both work great.

Here is the flip side...I like the contrasting color scheme on these machines even if the colors are a bit dull. I would prefer something brighter. I am guessing that the older one is from about 1975...I am sure that there are other models out there. Does anyone have these other models? Can anyone add any information here? Thanks...
