Recently my guilty pleasure of buying things have gotten the best of me, I usually never buy that many vacuums. Maybe if I'm lucky I would get two vacuums a month, but this week is maybe an exception. A few days ago I made a deal with a fellow member to buy an Oreck XL Ultra 40th Anniversary Edition. I was lucky enough to purchase that Oreck for an amazing forty dollars! I will also include a picture of that Oreck. But something else happened.... Just recently I spent some more money on something every Oreck "enthusiast" must have. That would be an Oreck XL21! Yesterday, I was lucky enough to be the highest bidder on an Oreck XL21. Amazingly I was the only bidder and the ending price was 9.99, with shipping I payed $35. I've always wanted an XL21. For those who have one, what are they like? Also yesterday, when me and my parents were driving to the store, right by my house was a HUGE estate sale. On the front lawn with furniture and some little appliances was a vacuum. I couldn't tell what it was but it was an upright and it looked maybe like a Hoover Windtunnel T-Series (that was the first thing that came to my mind) but I'm not sure, but it could be something newer or older. Should I take a chance and see if I can get this mystery vac? Not to mention I also had the chance to buy an Oreck XL4000 from Kyle, but I don't know if I'm able to get it yet as I don't know how much he wants for it yet. The Oreck looks like its in amazing shape though. I'm on an Oreck Spree and these vacs just keep getting better!
*also pictures are included of everything except the mystery vac
As it is the mystery vac, I will not be sharing anything I know about it until I get it (as I don't know much about it) That's when the mystery vac gets revealed. Also since the Oreck XL4000 is vintage, I don't really know where this thread belongs, but since there are more modern vacs here, I will put it in contemporary.*
Thank you,
Tyler.
