Last night I was working on one of my Eureka 1400 series "blender motor" uprights and ended up damaging the carbon brushes while trying to get the armature back in. Yes, I did originally partially remove the brushes while tapping the armature back in. The second time the armature slipped loose, and I ended up damaging both brushes.

I already ordered another motor but can't seem to find the brushes anywhere online. Does anyone know of a good source for these? Or am I up a creek with this motor? Anyway, I thought this might be a good discussion for those of us who like these lesser amp blender motor uprights.

That looks alot like the old sanitair motors in our old work vacuums, if anything you could prob just measure the dimensions of the brushes and get a generic replacement
