Probably should! For my safety as much as its own!!

Well, I got home and played with it a bit, runs good, but a bit dry sounding. And overall its fairly clean. It still will be getting the proverbial ‘Full Monte’ of a service job soon. I pulled out the barely used paper bag and put an MD Hyperflow bag in it, big elastic top bag that fits in there pretty well. Ive got to dog out all the parts to my CB now, and get pictures of both together, the CB I have is the very first one, that came out to replace this machine. Luckily that one came to me with all the tools, and even the optional power nozzle!

CA

Rare and wonderful Electrolux!
Any idea of its history?I have known of 3 in their original location.Church, mens clothing store & funeral home.

That's an AWESOME find. I have one and Evan has one. I know of one other that got left in a hotel convention room after a vacuum cleaner collector's club convention years ago. The hotel manager didn't know what to do with it, so a good friend of mine wound up with it.

Since the theme of this year's Convention in September will be themed Power Nozzle Canisters, your machine would make a great addition and should definitely compete in the cleaning competition which will only feature power nozzle canisters. Can't wait to see you in September. If you need a brand new original filter for it, let me know. I have 2.

My CA is among my early '60's Electrolux display. I got mine from the amazing Eric Skau several years ago.
