The ad mentions "time to empty" signal. How did it work?

It was a spring loaded mechanism, and it worked off back pressure from the Bag. When the Bag no longer passed any air, the signal pushed forward using air from the bag, and a little red dot appeared in a small window.

Thanks seems like the one in my Turbo "something" that I used to have.
