517 kirby

just got this 517. cleaned & polished it up some. bag came on it that way so i left it that way. i like it just fine like that. i do wonder why people put them on like that.they must like the different way it looks.

I've never seen a Kirby bag on sideways like that, either. It looks odd to me, and seems as though the bag when inflated would get in the way of the handle. But "To Each His Own"... (I have, however, seen a few Kirbys on eBay with the bags on completely backwards!!)

actually the handle does not get in the way of the bag at all because the back rounded side of the bag faces away from it. it does act a little different when you put the hose on & vacuum with it.
