Oreck Commercial bag dock

Hi all,

I know, there doesn’t seem to be a ton of interest in Orecks. But, I know someone who has the blue commercial Oreck XL. (2100?)
Knowing that I have an interest in them, he was asking me if I knew if it was possible to install a bag dock on the commercial model, so you can use HEPA bags in it.
I wasn’t even aware that you couldn’t use them in it. I have no experience with the commercial models.
But, I said that I’d check here!
Does anyone know what it would take to modify the commercial model to use regular or HEPA CC bags?
Is it just a matter of installing a bag dock? If so, is there a specific type it would require? And, does it just fit on that model the same as a domestic version, or would they need to replace the connector part that the bag attaches onto?
I hope my question is making sense. I don’t really know what I’m talking about. LOL

I’m very grateful for your help with my Oreck questions.
That does seem pretty straightforward. I guess, aside from the bag dock, they’re pretty much the same as the domestic version with regard to the bag. Some people in the reviews on Amazon have said that there’s two different designs of bag dock. Supposedly, one will work with HEPA bags, and one won’t. I don’t understand why there would be a difference. But, more than one person had the same complaint.
This guy actually asked me if I want one of his commercial units that stopped working. Weak as I am, I’m sure I’ll be dragging it home! I think it’s a 2016 model.
If I can get it working, I’ll want to do this same conversion.

Yeah TTI did in fact changed the bag dock. If you watch this video it'd explain the differences.

Might have to buy both types, so I’d know I’d have the right one.
