There's a ton left missing, I used to work for a few Riccar dealers. I see no single SupraLite models listed, those are technically uprights. I also don't see any American Flag models, those were special editions and one of if not the rarest models they've ever sold. There's a brand new Spirit upright that they just released. Etc. This website should help you find more models you're looking for but unfortunately they don't have every single Riccar upright ever sold. Your best bet would be to contact Tacony.

I didn't see up close and saw you mentioned about the other two. So I'll list some more examples. This Heavy Duty, some of the Vibrances, and a blue Brilliance. Could do more but that'd take me a while which I don't have the time for.

Here is a Riccar upright list I found at parts warehouse.com exclusive of specialty models. I saw nothing to indicate the HP Series.

From my understanding according to the VDTA, Riccar's very first vacuum at least as an upright was made by Vorwerk. Riccar didn't started assembling vacuums here until 1997. Before then they were made in Taiwan by a company called Zeng Hsing under by Tacony supervision. I believe it was in 1988 that Tacony acquired Riccar, then a year later they created the Simplicity brand. After Riccar began fully assembling their uprights in America and discontinued production in Taiwan, Zeng Hsing had Dust Care (known as ESSCO today) make uprights for Riccar in Taiwan and other Asian markets. Nowadays, at least when this website was last updated, Tacony has their own Chinese facility to make Riccar uprights for Zeng Hsing. Anyways, the reason why the HP models weren't listed on partswarehouse is because they were made by Panasonic. Tacony doesn't support those machines.

Ace Vacs says Riccar started in 1956, another site says 1960. Weird if they’ve been around that long that you don’t ever see any around older than the late 70’s.

Thanks for the education, Alex! I'm surprised that Tacony doesn't have a more detailed history of the two brands on its website, and have realized that Ace Vacuums has taken poetic license in fabricating Simplicity & Riccar's histories.

Oh there was more than just vacuums and sewing machines. They also had microwaves which I believe were made by Sharp because they already had a patent for the Carousel "turn table" feature. And I think a few more appliances.
