Lol
I bet alot of people are interested.
I made athread I posted showing my conversion.
4.5-4.75 circular piece of 1/8" lexan. You use 2.25 bit to cut out for the fill tube. You get 2.125 male and female PVC adaptor. You glue it together sealing the fill tube.
The cr1 to heritage 2 is similar the dimensions you get from the Kirby tradition fill tube. It's the same idea. You attach 2 inch PVC that's 1-2 inches long that fits as the male on male female 2.25 fitting.
If you seal the opening with e6000 it makes an airtight seal.
The fill tube I initially tried was sentria 2 fill tube but in cannister mode it kinks. There is a bulk piece used for dust collection that works much better it's 12-14" of hose for the fill tube. You can use e6000 or zip ties to attach the tube to the bag adapter. I used 6 inch long nylon snap seen to the top of the bag. It loops around and snaps on itself.
If you look up Utah vacuum guy or
[email protected] you can see my d80 video. The 509 has my 505 bag I had made. It has the fill tube inside it.
I know how to make the bags. The tricky part is the bag spring. I figured it out on my own. I have assembled 10 or so bags made.
I had a guy with last name Woodward from Salem, Utah help me through the paperwork for patents so people like kelton could not profit off my idea. Kirby collector in July August or September has a video of the d80 bag.
Vaclabs did s video presenting the idea. I was made aware of this. I asked bill politely to not pursue it further.
I paid good money to own this idea. I didn't provide bill with a patent number.
You wonder why I didn't give it to him? I was waiting to hear back on my submission.
The owners of this idea is whoever owns eureka. The ST fill tube adapter used to use an adapter for top fill HEPA bags. They were submitted 2009-2013 there is 4 patents from that setup that was the reason my application was denied. The bag adapter Kirby etc owns that intellectual property. I can't produce or make a financial gain off this idea. I believe in 2029 is when it expires.
I made a financial investment and made bags. I can only use for my own machines.
Im not the patent holder on this idea.
