Nice find - I kinda like the bright yellow.. That thing just screams 70's!
I saw a similar machine but a ivory/burgundy at the local goodwill for 20 bucks, the going price for most thrift store vacs here.
Antique stores usually price stuff 5-20 times reasonable thrift store prices, so I say you about got a steal!

Love the Convertibles with the boxier motor hood and light. Always preferred this style to any other Convertible….and “groovy” bag with all the body colours swirling around!
