Hey There everyone.. It's cap10323 From YouTube Again..

Recently, I inherited a Vacuum From my GrandParents as they were moving and gave us a ton of stuff Including a Hoover Concept 2..

I'm Just wondering what information there is out there on this vacuum.. I don't do much with vacuums other than vacuum my house so You can see where I'm coming from here..

Here are some things I have noticed:

The Dust Buster is Just like a "Hoover Help mate" I have Down the basement (Actually Got 2 of them from a friend) But with a cord Plugin..

It's not self propelled.. Which Sucks.. As it weighs as much as a buick

The Electronic speed control is Pointless

Here it is Next to my House vacuum.. Which is a Hoover Concept One.. It's Worn out, Broken.. Has had new transmissions out of newer "Hoover Power Drive" Machines.. New Brush roll Strips, bearings etc.. It's built like a tank and Completely un-killable

The Concept 2 doesn't work as well as the concept one.. But I'm guessing that's because the Brushroll strips are worn down.. So I ordered some more.. Hopefully that fixes the cleaning issues..

Cheers

Models

From what I've seen.. They made an unbelievably wide model range.. All different colors/configurations..

Here is a Video on the Concept one.. Before I did the Transmission swap and before I knew anything about the Quadraflex system.. I Bought some brush strips for it as well... Even though they aren't worn.. just for backup..

I found some Vac place in Canada.. They are $2.50 for a set of aftermarket Brush strips.. They also make complete brushrolls which are about $50 and Available on Amazon.

I had no Idea they were obsolete.. Guess that's why my Local vacuum store Laughed at me when I asked..

Cheers
