On the cord, I also love the long cords on my USA machines, currently I have

2 15inch bagged powerdrive windtunnels

1 15inch bagless windtunnel

1 13 inch bagged windtunnel

Two different elite machines

Two differnt spinscrub carpet washers

plus many more

I love the long cords compaired eu machines.

For some reason although most of our homes have similar size to homes in the USA than the EU. For some reason all the manufacturers here seem to think we need EU sourced machines.

Nice one ...

Hi Alex
Well it really is American month lol.....I have several US machines including a Turbolite and the Dual purpose Commercial along with a self propelled Windtunnel and a couple of Convertibles.
I've only got a 1.2kva transformer and that works fine. I started off with a yellow one like yours but use this now- same thing but with a US plug :-).
Oh I'd just use Turbopower H4 in it- the Turbolite actually says that on the handle ;-)

I have used H4 bags in the Turbolite in the past and despite it working just fine, the bag doesn't inflate as much as the Type A ones. I don't think I will buy anymore as they are quite expensive...but it is fun have the right bags :)
My transformer says it will go up to 3.3KVA but it is 1.6KVA continuously which is more than enough for a 1440watt 12 amp U.S vacuum anyway.
