1986 Royal 501 with 1976-Style Nameplate

On eBay, there is a rare 1986 Royal 501 Prince hand vac in which the nameplate is of the 1976-84 style (where the company's HQs are listed as Highland Heights, OH, rather than Cleveland, OH), rather than the 1985 or the usual 1986-94 style.

The serial # is D86-E-02869 (April 1986). Normally in '86 the s/n would read #D86E002869.

Here's a nameplate from a 501 dated December 1985, which gives the base of HQ's as Cleveland, OH. The s/n on this example is L85E093768.

For the odd April 1986 example, its s/n should read D86E102869.
