We went to a flea market a few months ago with some friends and I bought this little guy! Only cost me $8.00! He's a Sunbeam Mixmaster model MMA I'm guessing made in the 1970's. He didn't have a bowl, beaters, or a power cord. I bought him an original Sunbeam bowl and dough hooks. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that originally he would have came with beaters and dough hooks! I didn't have dough hooks for any of my mixers and thought that would be neat! I'm borrowing a power cord from another Sunbeam stand mixer I have that's the same as him, just a different color. So, after I got all of his new stuff in the mail, Sammy and I made homemade bread with him about a few weeks ago! I named him "Beaker" because his motor head kept bobbing up and down and it reminded me of those beaker water birds! He's an awesome little guy!

kenkart

It's a 1957 Sears Kenmore gas stove. It has 4 burners, a griddle in the middle, a timer, and a huge fluorescent light! I have posted a ton of pictures of it on here. I'll have to remember if it was in a thread about something else or if I posted it by its self in a thread. I will search and write you back.

I found the thread and what's funny is you wanted to see pics of it back then! What's even funnier is that I made that thread on my stove for you! Ha ha! Ok, the subject title is "My Kenmore Stove!" and the thread #23318.

The same thrift-store I got a terrible 'surprise thing' you'll see in my thread I'm posting later, 'Nightmare on Kirby Avenue'!

Sunbeam mma

That Sunbeam is a model mm 100. It came with 2 glass bowls and beaters, no dough hooks. The model that followed this one came with the hooks and a more power full motor. The hooks work with this model, but don't push it too hard as it was not meant to knead. It is a great mixer, I have the chrome version mm200.

I just got a similiar mixer in chrome from a member on the washer site. There is no model number stamped anywhere that I can find. It is 235 watts. I checked the stamped plate between the beater holes and no model no. It has 12 speeds but will only run on 1 speed - fast - no matter what the dial setting. The capacitor was shot so I got a new one from a repair shop in PA but now the mixer has 2 speeds - fast and faster. I took off the end cap and tried adjusting the screw but nothing happens. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Gary
