Interesting that they call the Junior the "Lark", cos the Lark was a completely separate model to the Junior... :)
 
As a kid, I remember seeing a 110-volt Hoover cylinder sold in Canada just like the one picture in the brochure! It must have been in the early 1970's. It might even have been a vac imported from the UK especially for sale over here.

What was cool about it was that it was sold with a really neat tool carrier made out of metal wire - kind of like a metal cage with spaces to store everything inluding the hose and wands. My memory may be foggy, but I think that the holder even had a place to store the vac unit itself. The tool carrier could be mounted on a wall, or could sit on the floor by itself.

The "Convertible" name was used both here (the U.S.) and Australia, whereas in the U.K. (where they call the "Convertible" the "Senior"), the name was used on the upright we call the "Dial-A-Matic" and where you live (Australia) as the "Dynamatic."
