1960s eureka canister vacuums

The very first Eureka canister vacuum with on-board tools was the Eureka Prince in 1962. In 1963, Eureka debuted it’s square Princess cleaner with a pull out tool tray that stored under the cover of the canister.
 
Actually, in the 1950’s, Eureka’s little Roto-Matic tub vac had clips on which you could store three attachments. I think they marketed the feature as “Attach-o-Matic Tools”! The larger Super Rotomatic tub vac came with an optional tool holder “skirt” that slid on top of the canister to store all the attachment “heads”.
