1951 Hoover 51 vs Lux XXX Consumer Reports

Thanks to Roger LeQuea, a great member from Tucson, we now have a complete 1951 CU Report on Vacuum Cleaners. Check it out under "Consumer Articles." If you have been following the Contemporary Threads you will see a reference to the new Constellation and also see a picture of me using a great Hoover 51. I mentioned that Roger was going to send me the 1951 CU review of vacs and was wondering how the Lux XXX would come out against the Hoover 51. Of course, the Lux XXX came in second (against the Hamilton Beach!) and the Hoover 51 came in not too far behind.

Jeff Parker made some copies of the CR magazines I didn't have in my collection, and gave them to me some years back. I'm forever grateful. I'm so computer illiterate that I have no idea how to post pictures. I would love to post some of my collection. I can send the magazine copies to you if you know how to put them up on the site (apparently, you do.)
