I've checked EBAY. Can't really find a match based on the way my brushes look. I can't find the model of my motor, it's not printed anywhere that I can find. Not having that model number makes finding a brush match a crap shoot.

I

Bet if you got carbon brushes from An electrolux or filter queen brushes could be similar.

Thanks everyone for your input. If I can get those brushes and get my machine running again, I'll be a happy guy. I enjoy the idea that I can put to use, on a regular basis, a 70 year old machine. It's a testament to how durable these products were once made.

Putting in new brushes will keep your Compact revelation humming fora nother 70 years tehy are so simple!!

Update on this Revelation!

Replaced the brushes. Replaced the switch. Took a while to gather these parts but the old machine is up and running again. Thanks to all for tips/suggestions. Next up for fixing...a broken down early sixties Rexair Rainbow.

Here are some tool pictures. Tool caddy isn't original, my wife is pretty handy with a sewing machine so she made a new one. It was modeled on the original and pretty much looks spot on. Same color scheme. A couple of the tools aren't original (newer plastic floor tool and crevice tool) The hose is a replacement but the metal hose ends I believe are original. Love to get a hold of an original cloth covered hose.
