1940's Eureka

First of all sorry the picture is a little blury. It was one
of my first digital pics with a borrowed camera.
It came from ebay, I know nothing about it. Just delighted it was in such great shape and works. I had one
back in the 80's when I had my Vacuum shop in Upper
Arlington, here In columbus Ohio. That one was minus
the bag, the front belt cover and a burned up armature. So
never got to run it. Back then all the older shops in town
could not tell me where to find a new or used armature.

Let me know how many of you have ever seen one or even had
the chance to run it. Two speed switch and purrs like a
kitten!!

Have D272 in Emporia, KS

Have two D272's in my vintage vac collection. One looks good and runs well and has an outer bag that houses a disposable paper bag inside. The other has part of the handle missing, and I haven't had the courage to plug it in and see if it runs. A carpet layer friend, who also manages a nearby apartment house, told me about a year ago that it was next to the apartment house dumpster and to take it if it wanted it. I took it!
