I opened this time capsule 12 years later after it was sitting in the original box for all that time. I'm amazed at how smooth the motor was after just sitting there not being used. I'm sure anybody with a lot of vacuum cleaners can attest that sometimes when you go a long time without using one the grease can settle to one side of the bearing and cause a bit of noise. This machine had No such noise and was exactly like I remember it when I sold these years ago. Really shows the quality that Miele puts into there products.
