I bit the bullet and contacted this seller and bought one of these beauties!!!! Holy cow where is the positive feedback button lol I'm VERY pleased. Everything was new and in PERFECT condition and the shipping was fast and packing was superb! If I had the money I'd buy all 11 of them. I just thought I'd share how pleased I was with my purchase

My new vacuum room is still underway, as soon as it's finished I will get all of my collection out of boxes and display. I'm going to leave this in the box as well until then. When room is finished I will display it assembled but only to play with for mini meets.

No wonder they are still around-thought they were trying to sell these awhile ago-yes,I would like one,too but don't want to pay that kind of price-I don't want a Bison THAT badly. And would its fragile plastic motor housing survive shipping-it will have to endure the shipping service baggage smasher gorillas!

My Bison Mark II and Thread Number 25205

Hello All,
I have the Mark II Bison and while it has a massive amount of power it is a deafening experience to use. I had to replace the belt which was beyond a ridiculous experience. If I ever wanted to buy one again, I do still have my Mark II, I would only buy the Mark III as it has a front opening which allows for easy replacement of the belt and access to the pulley to hook the belt on.
There is a Thread No. 25205 The Bison which is good reading and the last Post shows my replacing the belt on My Mark II. I still have a number of unanswered questions on that Post regarding the Mark I, Mark II and Mark III.
I paid very little for my Bison Mark II and I did a minor repair to it which can be seen on the aforementioned, I just always liked that word, Thread. It was not used much and is still shinny but the bag is a bit faded. As a novelty to own I think it is okay, but to use it is a massive monster. My Omega is easy to use as is my D50 which might be even easier.
As far as novelty goes, my vintage Montgomery Ward with the push down handle release beats out the Bison any day.
I don’t mean to offend anyone owning a Bison or selling a Bison and these are only my opinions.
Thank you for looking,
Pete

Yes, I still have a few available. Best way to contact me is by email as this is the first time I've logged on here in over a year.

For the people leaving negative comments regarding my price on eBay, notice how the machine sold for what I was asking.

That is a sad tidbit and indicative of people who think they can control race/gender/sexual orientation issues. I can only hope he goes out screaming.

If you had any other models other than mark II I'd think about biting the bullet again.

I just love mine that I bought from you! It's one of the top contenders for vacuuming my vintage new old stock wool deep shag carpeting. I only use it to play with as I want to keep it in new condition but using it in there in no problem as the shag in in the mini meet room and sees no traffic or pets.
