    Panasonic Dual Sweep

I saw this at my local goodwill the other day. Seems to be a pretty unique machine so I thought I better bring it home. Seems to be a fairly low use example. The belts are worn, so it didn’t clean very well, will have to get creative to change them. Just thought I’d share this interesting vacuum.

    Forgotten Bissell Products

I don’t know how forgotten it is but there’s not a lot of mention of the healthy home here.

    Brought home more "Junque"

When I lived at the last apartment complex people would throw away Bissels and other cheap Walmart vacs. I often would pull them out, bring them back to life and sell them. Usually they just needed a good cleaning and general maintenance. The one you have sounds pretty beat up, but I guess if...

    Super Coach backpack vacuum.

I’ve always wanted to have a back pack vacuum in the collection and this week this super coach was up for sale at our local auction house. I bid and won for $12, so a perfect bargain. I picked it up today, unfortunately it does seem to have a few issues. It definitely has been used, though...

    Tennant T7 AMR

One of the accounts I service for work has one of these Tennant Floor scrubbers. I call it the “giant store Roomba.” For those unfamiliar it is a ride on floor scrubber than has an Automatic robotic mode. I was curious as to how the machine was programmed so I looked it up. You do have to...

Is it worth getting a rainbow?

Rainbows are great machines I think you would be happy with it. There are a few extra steps to using one but if you do it everytime it will become second nature. Also the benefit to having to fill and drain the basin everytime is that you aren’t storing dirt and other smelly material in your...

    Cheap Rainbow.

I seen this 1 speed E series for sale at a garage sale and had to run over and check it out. They only wanted $25 for it so I quickly scooped it up and took it home. At that price I was expecting it to be rough but it seems to be in great shape actually. The water basin, underside, and...

    Electrolux Model L Goodwill Find!

What a great find. I love these old Electoluxes. They have a certain charm about them.

    Bissell wide area vac

Thank you for the information. I have six of these halls in the building. My Advance Carpetwin does them just fine but that Bissell would get them done even quicker! As far as the cracking in the plastic…I doubt it’s a build quality issue. Housekeepers and others who use equipment like this...

    Bissell wide area vac

What a cool machine! Definitely worth getting. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on using it. I would love to find something like that, it would be perfect to use at the hotel I work at. I have an Advance Carpetwin that I use to do hallways but that bad boy would do them in two swipes...

    Oreck XL Restaurateur Upright Vacuum

Intersting find. I've never seen one specially marketed toward a Restaurant. What style handle does it have?

    Another small haul

Great haul. I have the same Dutch Tech, it's a great canister! Unfortunately the bag collar on mine has gone missing, so I've had to improvise a bit. Hopefully yours won't have the same problem. I've also noticed that the pins are coming loose in where the hose fits into the body of the...

Rare color variants of particular vacuums

I have the teal Dirt Devil deluxe and hand vac.

    All my commercial upright vacuums.

Nice collection of commercial machines. I enjoy the Windsor/Sebo machines. That VS18 is probably a bit unwieldy in your home but they make fantastic hallway vacuums.

Hoover Celebrity QS S3237 3.7 HP Dual Speed Canister Vacuum

Great find! Those attachment caddy's must have fallen off easy. The celebrity I have is also missing the caddy. The attachments and hose on mine are mint green...I can't really tell from the photo if they are green or white.

(1997) Kenmore Destiny Plus 12 amp.

Great find! I have never seen the Kenmore Version. These are definitely rebadges of the Thunder. Pretty solid machines other than they didn't have any sort of motor pre filter.

How do you enjoy your collection?

Just curious how others enjoy their collections. Do you use all your vacuums or do you have a daily drive and just display the others? Space right now is a premium for me, I have to store them in a way that makes them hard to get to other than the front few. I’m trying a new strategy though...

    Dirt Devil Ultra MVP

Here it is cleaned up. It wasn’t that bad but wiped it down good and cleaned a few scuffs out. For those that aren’t familiar this is a dual motor machine, it also has a bypass for the floor cleaning/ and attachments. For carpet cleaning the suction is routed down the big pipe in the bag...

    Dirt Devil Ultra MVP

I’ve always had a soft spot for the 90s red Dirt Devils so I couldn’t say no when this beauty popped up for sale. Haven’t cleaned it up yet but overall seems to be in good shape and has all but one of the attachments. Will share more when it’s done but here are some teasers!

    Dyson DC28 Airmuscle

I have a few questions about this newly acquired DC28. First, what exactly is Airmuscle technology? Compared to my DC17 there is a lot of extra business going on under the power head. The extra tubes kinda look like the bag check mechanism is an old school Electrolux. Second, the bin...
