Attached is an online photo of the Volta U268, which is quite similar to the Husqvarna (there were no other photos).

It may be that the ZE3 was introduced and/or tested in NZ, but it may also have appeared at the same time in other markets such as the UK. Since the French market had the ZE34, it must have delayed introducing the ZE3. It's unfortunate that no one that lives in most of those other countries...

    Favorite central/canister cleaning head?

I like the 'L' shape of the Electrolux power nozzles and the performance of the Eureka Roto-Matic 1230 Series with Vibra-Groomers and Vibra-Groomer IIs (have yet to try the successor series with V-G III).

    NZ Electrolux machines

The same was true for its Eureka division. By the way, Lux France lists its production of the ZE3 from 1992 to 2006, which explains the large cover and color varieties of it.

A Briefly-Made Electrolux (Eureka) Boss Plus Robotic 1000W Vacuum

Haha! Happy FALL y'all! Got a "kick" out of the beginning of this video and came up with the feeble attempt at some vacuum humor:

A Briefly-Made Electrolux (Eureka) Boss Plus Robotic 1000W Vacuum

Z1359? It lowered itself to the ground when in operation and was programmed to robotically traverse from one cleaning area to another. This Boss Plus was quite the performer and time-saver, but there were too many complaints that it always managed to get in the way of TV watching and quick...

    Sanitaire Brand and Model History

Ben, I was unable to locate any online Sanitaire trademark information regarding the stylized S. I also searched all the models you listed and found only one newspaper ad for the 3684 compact canister and the S639 from 2002. So did Sanitaire routinely produce its models for twenty or so...

    Royal Lux D770

Congratulations! Is that a Japanese logo on the bag door? Is the power nozzle a model E3? I have a limited knowledge of the AB Electrolux power nozzles, but it seems that the E3 was produced for a long time and had different covers if not other variations. France PurificationLux lists a model...

    Sanitaire Brand and Model History

Ben, It just occurred to me that archived digital CONSUMER REPORTS would likely be available on WorldCat (either viewing online or via inter-library loan) at your local public library to find Sanitaire information. University libraries often carry hard copies of archived periodicals, as well.

    Ebay: Sanitaire Deluxe canister - Model-Type 911-A (Eureka 900 Series Super Roto-Matic)

The seller is unknown to me. Attached are 3 photos of it and one of the similar Eureka Heavy-Duty canister model-type 948-A originally posted by OpelGTKarl. Both were marketed in the early- to mid-'60s and enameled in Eureka's main color of the time, Lagoon Blue. My guess is that Sanitaires...

    Question about Eurekas and rarity

Go ahead and ask away - no one is keeping tabs, and if you stick around long enough you'll be answering others' questions from your acquired knowledge and adding new information. Good to have you here. You have a nice assortment of brands and models in your collection. It appears that the model...
