We used to refer to the Princess as the poor mans Majestic when I worked for Filter Queen. The Princess, though it was a more stripped down model (three wire motor, no chrome, no ball casters) did have a longer crush proof hose and lower profile head which was a nice benefit.

No You want to wire the motors in series, one lead to one wire on each motor, then connect the remaining one wire on each motor together.

Made in Italy... I thought Lindhaus too, but I cannot find anything on this unit. The brush roll also looks alot like a Linhaus setup, but much thinner.
