    Miele UniQ

Homecare S8 also lacks.. ... the Auto setting of both the Marin and the UniQ. The Auto setting will automatically reduce the power of the motor to maximize cleaning efficiency, say on a deep pile carpet or when doing upholstery. We love this feature on our S8 Alize. for $50-100 more, you can...

    Miele Alize

This is exactly... what I did with ours too! I love the silent movement of the canister on the laminate flooring, due to the dynamic drive. I use the Auto setting always, love the "park" feature that puts the unit to sleep. I like using the non electric setup for the laminate, switching to...

Experimenting with Miele vs Filter Queen, Electrolux, Dyson etc..

That was... my initial thinking as well and it was just a fun test. However, your conclusions regarding the size of the bag being the contributing factor is incorrect, as the Miele Quickstep (which is a broom vac) has a very tiny bag, in comparison to the 2.5 gallon Filter Queen bin.

Experimenting with Miele vs Filter Queen, Electrolux, Dyson etc..

So we had some fun in the shop the last few days experimenting with some new Miele vacuums, and some of my other favorites. The experiment consisted of using plastic sandwich bags to see how many each unit could take before the vacuum completely lost its airflow and ability to take in another...

    Looking for a Filter Queen

We used to refer to the Princess as the poor mans Majestic when I worked for Filter Queen. The Princess, though it was a more stripped down model (three wire motor, no chrome, no ball casters) did have a longer crush proof hose and lower profile head which was a nice benefit.

Whew! I am not the only one that likes Miele vacuums!

Lots of negative comments regarding Miele vacuums from a few collectors/dealers here in vacuumland, but it is interesting to see how consumers view the line. http://money.msn.com/business-news/article.aspx?feed=PR&Date=20130313&ID=16229592&industry=IND_MEDIA&isub

    Filter Queen advice

The motor for that unit is no longer available from Filter Queen. Its replacement is the POS single stage motor used in the 360's. If your hose/wand/power nozzle are in good shape, I would recommend just replacing the motor unit with a 75th or another Limited (you only need the chrome dome...

    Simplicity Vacs any good?

Miele Upright As long as you are doing research, check out the Miele uprights. They are built well, have the Miele 1200 watt motor, and have the twist feature that makes them very manueverable, and they are sealed. Both the AutoEco and the Swing are full featured and within your price range...

    Kirby G4 motorarcing D:

If you need a good used motor and switch for your G4, I can offer you one for 40.00, you pay to ship and clean it yourself. The armature, switch and carbons will all be good. Drop me an email if you are interested. As for your problem, I did the same thing once, wrecked the armature and...

    Electrolux Ultralux Classic 1521

This is... one of my favorite Electrolux units. The motor is the same as what is in most of the plastic bodied canisters like the 2100/LE/6500's etc. I agree, with a woven hose however, that the unit is probably not worth 100. If you can get it for around 50 or so, put a new hose on it...

    TTI (candy, etc)

We buy truck loads of used vac trades. TTI Hoovers are garbage and rarely in good condition. Those that are in good condition usually have the attachment holders broken off. Ours join the Bissells, Eurekas and bagless units in the great big blue storage bin (that gets picked up once a week)...

    Lux 9000 Power nozzle....missing part?

This part... does help hold the neck assembly together. I have kept many of these over the years in the event I ever come across a missing one. Shoot me your address and I will get one out to you (not sure if I have a blue one, but it will fit and work). Lloyd

What kind of electrolux is this?

This one.... however is probably only dumpster fodder as it is soaking wet, looks like they sprayed it off with a water hose to clean it. You think they would have at least wiped if off before listing, who would hose off an electrical appliance and try to sell it wet? Makes me think they...

    THE NEW KIRBY IS HERE

New bag style? Kirby dealer informed me that along with the Sentria II will be a new bag dock launch, which will only be included with the Sentria II attachment kits for the first few months. The new bag can be used on all G Series bag docks, as well as F style. The card board collar has been...

Karcher "Aquaselect" Water Filtration Vacuum Cleaner

Funny that this would come up here now. I am listing one of these on eBay this evening. I had been looking all over the internet for information on the unit, and could only find an old Amazon listing. The model number did not yeild any info, but Aquaselect helped alot.... so thanks!

    Any info on this vacuum?

Made in Italy... I thought Lindhaus too, but I cannot find anything on this unit. The brush roll also looks alot like a Linhaus setup, but much thinner.
