My later 50s Dormeyer gets close to the bowl, you flick a switch on the bottom and the mixer stand swivels. The bowl does rotate, the beaters themselves help it along (not beating the beautiful vintage bowl itself, though!). Doesn't need to be minded too much

Both were God awful!  Especially those late 90s bagless Hoovers...all the filter cleaning! The horror!!   They were dual cyclonic, but my vote goes for FANTOM!

Found it in a thrift shop today for $4, looked to be in PERFECT shape so I snatched it up! It's green with red stripping, any ideas? I don't have an AirWay, so I guess it can double as a Christmas decoration 

I'm not sure if they make belts for those anymore, I run Dirt-Devil broom vac belts in mine (which...also aren't made anymore...). Perhaps try a worn DD handvac belt or something similar? Good luck! Great vacuum!
