Let’s play “Which vacuum from the thrift store?”

I know those thrift stores!!! Hey broomvac, you wouldn’t happen to live in Lubbock, TX by chance? Those were at the Goodwill Pound Store and Disabled American Veterans store here in Lubbock.

    Hoover TurboPower Product Lineup

Here is my Turbopower lineup. Both found at Goodwill. The PowerDrive is missing the dusting brush but both work great.

    TTI Vacuums

Guess I'm not from the right area but... I still to this day see pre-TTI Dirt Devils being used and many of them are pre-Swivel Glide models. The only gripe I would have about the TTI Hoover isn't the reliability of the product as the T-Series Windtunnel I have has yet to have any issues...

    The 1954 Kirby "Movie Star"

JAWS!!!! I wish I could find a Kirby made like the one in Mr. Mom!

Favorite upright with on board tools?

I vote for the Hoover Windtunnel bagged. If I recall correctly, it was purple with the red and green lights. It was quiet but the carpet looked amazing after using it.

    1967 kirby Dual sanitronic 50

maybe its just me but the pictures look real but the vacuums themself look like they are "drawn" in. I dunno.... And she's probably thinking I bet my Cristian Louibiton's feel so much better than my Jimmy Choo's!

    The British Made Kirby

being left handed I would love that idea!! But in the image on the auction, it is clearly flipped, just look at the lettering on the belt lifter.

    Looking for something similar

    Looking for something similar

My mom had the blue vacuum except the hood was squared like the maroon one in the picture but did not have the headlight. I've searched high and low and cannot seem to find one and would love to have one. Help?

    Goodwill $40 find

I know there are better vacs out there but... I have pulled up more of the CarpetFresh, sand and grit from the previous tenant than my Hoover or Kirby has out of the carpet and I've only had it going on 3 weeks (Lived here 5 years). I cleaned the filter that is on top of the bin and replaced...

Compact vacuum, is this worth the price?

Thanks guys I would have bought it but I took Electrolux-dude's advice and had to pass. It's a 2 hour drive there and if it is in that bad of shape, I can't really afford to mess with it. Thanks beerad.

    What is the WROST vacuum?

most stick vacs in general except the one I got at Lowe's from Electrolux. That was actually decent. The downright worst vac I have ever used was a red Dirt Devil Swivel Glide MVP. The casters kept coming off and if I recall correctly, the motor burned up within 2 months of my mom purchasing...

    Goodwill $40 find

I'm not big on the bagless but I couldn't resist! The only thing wrong with it was the debris clogging the brush roll but other than that, it purrs like a kitten!

Compact vacuum, is this worth the price?

I've seen a few of these around at thrift stores for like $25. Would this be worth the amount they want? http://amarillo.craigslist.org/app/2104515513.html
