Sear's has a deal on Dyson DC23 Motorhead

I recently noticed that the DC23 "MotorHead" model is no longer listed on Dysons website. I also heard through the grapevine (still unconfirmed for sure) that it was indeed discontinued. That would make perfect sense as to why Sears is having the sale on it. Makes me interested to see what the...

    Sanitaire sc684 question?

Here is a link to one of the CWP rollers currently on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/Eureka-Sanitaire-Kent-NSS-Vacuum-Roller-Brush-roll-/260274416480?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3c99906b60

    Sanitaire sc684 question?

4 Row... I have one of those black w/orange strip 4 row rollers. Works really well but I ended up burning belts even quicker with it. It might act different with commercial carpeting perhaps, idk. There is a CWP wooden 4-row made for the F&G uprights (I have one of them as well) and it seems to...

Sear's has a deal on Dyson DC23 Motorhead

That's a steal for a MotorHead. They are quite a nice machine, lovin' mine.

    Sanitaire sc684 question?

Oops I just now noticed that you stated you in fact have the 7 AMP motor. But nonetheless I still recommend that you reconsider the Hoover belt option. ;)

    Sanitaire sc684 question?

Hoover Belts... You may want to be careful with using the Hoover belts. They are significantly tighter as the design of the Hoover uprights have the roller in closer proximity to the pulley. Having the excessive tension on the motor can and most likely will eventually kill the bearings...

Fire hazard,,I dont know if this has been posted

First the upright and now the canister. Collect the whole set! I had a TTI T-series briefly. It cleaned quite well but it put out more heat than our furnace and felt like a ticking time bomb.

    New Vac!!!!

Dual Cyclonic... I can't quite remember but is this one of the Eureka models that hide a pleated filter behind a shroud and have the molded plastic piece on top of the dirt cup above the pleated filter in attempt to resemble a cyclonic setup and fool the consumer? If Eureka has finally...

Wondering about this new, cute little dyson

DC26 City... I have had the opportunity to play with one of these at my local Best Buy a while back. It is very small but still fully functional. Although it doesn't have quite the power of its big brothers (DC21, DC23) it still has plenty of suction. IMHO still more than several of the...

It's Amazing What People Get Rid Of..

Yes, for a lower budget cleaner these are quite exceptional for carpet cleaning. I got hold of a pre-TTI "factory re-manufactured" SP WindTunnel at a locally owned department store about a month ago. Still has the older brush roll design too. I couldn't beat the asking price for a "new"...

    Dyson vs. Royal Everlast/Kirby

I'm one of the neutral guys between Dyson and Kirby. Reason being, I like both. I used to dog Dyson cleaners and constantly take note of the flaws, I admit it. Now that I look back on it I really do feel it was mostly because I followed other peoples opinions rather than make my own. Long...

    Good Powerhead Cainster?

rexaird... I had similar results with the Vibra Groomer swap. Back before I sold my TriStars, I jumped on the band wagon after hearing how awesome and and perfect it was. I bought a "VGII" roller for one of them. I had the Interstate made nozzle. The first thing I noticed was that the bristle...

Water Bottle Cage... (really it belongs here)

Thats hilarious! Cool idea for a vac collectors bicycle modification perhaps. Dave, come to think of it, my Sedan DeVille did not have any! Had plenty of ash trays and power sockets though. Never crossed my mind until now.

    Dirt Devil Breeze Bagless....

I don't have that machine but have a BOL Eureka Maxima bagless monstrosity for doing the crap work on the patio and stuff, it's practically the same thing as far as filtration and dirt capture design. Only reason I have the thing was because I got it for peanuts at work one day. For the price...

    new vacuum advice please!

Dustin, if you are able to repair the machines, I really think either the Windtunnel or the DC07 should be repairable and could very well continue to run without "biting the dust" (pun intended lol). Those older Windtunnel vacs seem to keep going if maintained and should be easy to work on. May...

    My Latest Vac Purchase...

I've never tried to take the hose apart. As for the power nozzle, mine seems to seal quite well to carpeting. It doesn't pull itself though. I'm not sure if the 21 and 23 use the same power nozzle or not. There noisy little things but do groom well and are very manuverable.

    My Latest Vac Purchase...

The part on the hose is the swivil point for the handle. When the wands are extended, it sets right up against the handle. When the wands are colapsed you gain a bit more hose length. Also yes the TurbineHead models do allow for the wand and handle to disconnect from the hose. When detached the...
