    Eureka Empress II Refurbished

Stunning Keith this looks like a Eureka I would have to use every day! I'm not lying. The color scheme is perfect and compliments even today's styling... I love that you added in the rug tool and the extra wands to show all of the machine's tools. And the advertisement is VERY COOL. Back then...

    A few nice vintage vacuums

Your Rainbow collection- Wow man I am so jealous of your Rainbow collection! I used to sell the PE waaaay back in 1997. I really love the new in the box D3A - I think it is a quality built Rainbow matched with that exceptional Eureka nozzle - it's like a platinum marriage. And then, you get all...

The Friday Night Special: The Elux 1205 and Model L

Beautiful machines I love the look of the 1205's that have the smooth paint as opposed to the rough finish. There is something just so cool and sleek about them. I remember how much of a major breakthrough that was for Electrolux at the time and how it boosted their reputation and sales. I...

Are mini-electrified upholstery tools better than turbo tools?

German Quality You just can't go wrong with the Wessel-Werks mini electric power nozzle. I know that it may cost just a little bit more than most air-driven tools but it's sooooo worth it for doing furniture and car interiors and the like. And they're just as amazing if not better when used...

Does Rainbow E2 Black really need a hepa filter?

Update I need to update my opinion on this subject. I currently am using a D3C quite often because I don't have much carpet at the moment. I always use a 4 quart water basin which I would always recommend when cleaning with a Rainbow. The additional water provides better filtration. I think...

Who or what is TTI? Who is this TTI that I am reading about?

Heavy Duty? Wow - I worked in an Oreck store for a year a long time ago.... Super pushy sales job and the owners wouldn't take no for an answer. A lot of the stuff Oreck was selling back then (2004) was being made in China. I looked over the Heavy Duty upright (Sebo/Windsor) and for some...

    What is your favorite Hoover?

Flying Saucer I owned one many many years ago when I was about 13.... I THINK it was the model Celebrity 3? It was a yellow flying saucer shaped canister that had no wheels, so it hovered. AND it had a great performing power head! I really liked that machine and I ended up selling it to a...

The Electrolux Model G Custom Rebuilt Canister

The first Model G I ever saw was the one that they were using at my daycare. I was about 3 or 4. The machine was probably from about 1965 and it had a power nozzle. I remembering being so amazed and all I wanted to do was watch them use it. Most likely I was probably the only kid there that felt...

    Rainbow R4375c PN

Some knowledge I do know this much about a Rainbow power nozzle... if you have the large rectangular style from the early 80's to early 90's, the most important parts for cleaning ability for it is that it has a like new belt, the brushes stay in good shape, AND you want that foam gasket around...

The Electrolux Model G Custom Rebuilt Canister

Nice So are you going to clean your house with this one? LOL. I don't know if I would use it much. I'd probably have to use something else and keep this one in pristine condition! What got you turned on to the model G if you don't mind my asking?

Potential New Kirby Vacuum Model Discussion

Renovator I wish Kirby would do something about that suds tube on the carpet shampoo system. Ever since they went to a rigid 90 degree piece and not a flexible hose, I haven't wanted to use the Kirby for carpet shampooing. It's just not as easy as it used to be. I had a brand new Sentria (the...

    Vacuum Cleaner Diversity

Rainbow/Eureka Power Team For years and years I used a Rainbow D2 Chocolate brown machine complete with its 2 hoses and beautiful brown attachments, chrome wands, and Eureka power nozzle. I was in love with that machine for its beauty, dependability, cleaning ability, and the fact that it never...

    Prolux CTX Water-Filtration Vacuum

Wow.... If it's true that it's made in Mexico then I'm shocked and dismayed. Prolux's website clams that it's made in the United States! With a Lifetime Warranty! Wow... so many questions I have about who really makes it and where... and I've got to wonder if Prolux would honor their Lifetime...

    Prolux CTX Water-Filtration Vacuum

Hi everyone, Happy post Thanksgiving! I'm looking over Prolux's website and I was curious to know if anyone has purchased a Prolux CTX and if you have, what are your thoughts on it? Do you like it? The Prolux CTX Canister water-filtration vacuum reminds me of a Vacman Vacuum from about 20 years...

    hoover celebirty

rare breed I owned a yellow Celebrity when I was young that floated on air and it had a power nozzle. It worked great on carpets and it seemed very powerful for such a unique and simple design. Unfortunately I parted ways with it because the exhaust would blow carbon dust from the motor...

The WORST vacuum cleaners, Ever made. In History.

Probably already been said..... Eureka bagless Whirlwind whatever..... Awful awful machines. Use them once and the filters clogged and you were done. You needed to completely empty, clean, rinse, and dry the filters not to mention sometimes replace the HEPA filter on the back to be able to...

Electrolux Extra Wide Floor and Carpet Tools

Floor Tools Amazing! I had no idea that Electrolux had offered an extra wide carpet tool for these vacuums! These canisters were common in the area that I grew up in, because many many people owned Electrolux's vacuums. And this was the GO TO for a commercial vacuum in a church or business...

Rainbow D3a, D3c- Strange Birds in Rexair Paradise

The D3 is a strange bird. Besides the D2A motor being exactly the same, the D3's were designed to be powerful, quieter, and lighter weight than the D2's. I really like the D3A's and the D3C's. I think the design of them is super cool.
