I found this gem today hiding in the back of a closet. I got it for $3. I could hardly believe it. It runs like new, but needs a new brush roll. I’m thinking it’s from the early 1990s. Are brushrolls still available? Would this one need to be oiled?

Thank you for the responses. I took the separator off and scrubbed it. After looking at it closer, I noticed that there was a hard black substance that had formed on the separator. I took a small screwdriver and scraped it off. The machine now works great now with no vibrating noise. I have...

M700 The machine is really good. Almost identical to the Riccar. It’s a little heavier and more awkward than any older Riccar I’ve used. It just isn’t very useful on my shag rugs. I guess I’ll use my old Hoover Convertible on the shag. It works extremely well on it. Tim
