    Hi Paul, it was just by chance that I saw this. I'm rarely online anymore. The 26 pounds sounds right, but by my various tests this is the complete unit. My tests are the basic unit at 20 pounds.

    Paul. I just did a weight test with me holding my LX with winder and tools, it is 25 pounds.

    Early Electrolux data. Hi Paul: I recall mentioning the weight of the LX way back around 2013. Based on my own tests the LX is twenty pouds, with cord winer and tools its 25. If you find other info, please tell me.

    Both. Pic 1 shows the model LX which the Johnson's must have, but in picture 2 its a model E that belongs to the Baxter's. However, Hazel has also been seen using a Modern Hygine.

    Handi-Butler. The main reason was to have something to interest the husband watching the demo. Same thing with the spray gun. All he thought of was killing the bugs attacking the flower garden.

    I lived through the Cedar fire of October, 2003. It came within blocks of my house in La Mesa. So I know the terror of what's ravishing Los Angeles now. As I said, everybody is in my prayers. Alex Taber.

    Health-Mor upright. Very impressive. I also have one with a full set of attachments, including small bag. These were great machines but as far as I know, it was the only upright before they went with the canister design.

    Actually the machine pictured above is one of the first pneumatic vacuum cleaners, but the term 'Worlds Oldest' is incorrect as the the first vacuum cleaner was invented in Chicago, Illinois in 1869. Inventor was Ives W. McGaffy, and called the Whirlwind.
