I have thoughly cleaned one of the vacuums so far with enzyme cleaner and am letting it sit overnight. I also ordered new filters for both. Tomorrow I will get to the other one.

Hello all, I was given two dyson DC17 vacuums that has been found in the trash. They both are in okay condition but need a very very good cleaning. Both seem to turn on and the brush rolls spin. Both have a pretty bad smell coming from them but that can be fixed. I don’t know a lot about these...

Year The Kirby Sentria has dates from 2006 to 2012. Kirby vacuums have great suction and lasts for many many years. I have four of them!

I was scrolling through Craigslist ads today and a new listing popped up. “ reconditioned oreck vacuums. $50 each. There is quite a few of them here but I don’t know which one to pick if I get one. Any ideas on which are the better ones?

Repairman Thank you so much! I took the vacuum apart and did not remove the plastic tube. What would I do with this little copper piece where the wire connects to. Do I remove the copper piece?

The culprit I found that right behind the little headlight cover the wire that connects to the arm snapped.

I just ordered a new powerdrive belt for my power max machine. I installed the belt the way the manual said to do. So then I turned the machine on then flipped the Powerdrive switch on and then nothing. the belt spins on the pulley but the Powerdrive wheels don’t spin. Does anybody know what’s...
