    The footstool vacuum

I wonder... Does it come with the matching rocker?

    Rebuilt Electrolux XII

The point is this seller is double-listing. This practice is not allowed by Ebay. There's too great a temptation to "oversell" one's stock, then claim the shipper "lost" the buyer's purchase. Unless he's stocking his inventory "two-by-two" like Noah's ark, I'd be wary of this shop.

    Vacuum display!

Great arrangement, Gj3476 Does this mean the Vacuum Museum of Dallas has opened?

    Penncrest sighting

Great news, Steve Glad it found a good home! I've had nothing but good luck with Craigslist folks. Very accommodating about shipping (I cover the costs, of course, and throw in a few extra bux for their trouble). Just let me know what your looking for, and I'll see what turns up in my weekly...

It gets even stranger... His Ebay store page also lists: 2 Sanitaire 635a 2 Sanitaire 645a 2 Koblenz u-110 Each pair has the same price/picture as its mate.

How Do You Explain You’re Into Vacuums Cleaners ?

I love the really old "Firsts", and the non-electric sweepers and vacs. The early inventors were ingenious about sucking dirt off carpets without a motor. Of course the electrics do a much better job. When people see my collection they "seem" interested. But I think they'd rather fit me in a...

I think I have my collection honed down to a nice representative level "I Think!"

Ver nice array, larryeddy It would be great if you could rig up a strong shelf above the back row's handles to put the front row vacs on. That way every unit could be clearly seen.

    "Antique"

I agree with Robert (bvac6) The words one selects for listing titles become the search tags used by search engines to target certain pages. Choose the most popular search words to gain the most traffic to your page.

    The Market Makers

How much did Kenney make? Did a little figuring from the chart above. Just for the years 1919 through 3/1924, the Kenney patents paid Mr. Kenney about $3.3M. In todays equivalent dollar, that equates to roughly $45,000,000!

    The Market Makers

This is an excerpt from a book by that name. It explains some of the earliest history of the Vacuum Cleaner Business in the U.S.

    “Royal” birthday present!

Gj3476 The highest patent number is from 1969, with others pending. So, 1970-71 possibly?

    Electrolux XXX labeled as "Jurisko"

The way that decal is so irregularly applied seems like the work of an individual whose last name was Jurisko, and not the name of some obscure company. But, many an Electrolux XII was rebranded Goblin in the UK.

New here just introducing my self.

Greetings Gwillim1985 I'm rather new here myself, but they're a good lot. I see from your profile that you're looking for Hoover Juniors. You'll be able to find a steady supply on Ebay.co.uk I'm sure. Cheaper shipping too than from the States, where they're rare anyway. If you need parts...

Youtube vacuum smashers, lets do something about them!

I remember seeing a spy movie made in the '70's where during a car chase, the hero ran his mint '63 Jaguar XKE straight into a concrete wall. I literally felt sick.

Made a Kirby Dealer mad today...

YouTube Tutorials Whenever I embark on a project, car repair, etc., I'll check to see if there's a tutorial on the subject. There's some bad advice out there, sure. But its easy enough to find one who knows what they're doing. Very helpful stuff.
