Ben Ben, Out of curiosity, why would the same Royal model (9700) use two different belt part numbers? Maybe I am missing something! Seems I have to use a different belt for my Royal 4000 and 886 and 1994 Royal 9700 but for the 1990 I would change to the #1044260001 belt. Kinda sucks I have to...

Need square Endcaps or adaptor for conversion I will call them to see if they have any left of the square end caps. In hindsight I should have waited for a 9700 that took hex end caps instead.

Thinking it through As I think about this..it seems to me the only way to swap the caps would be if the underside to the hex caps would also be square because they must fit the square fitting on the receiving end. I can check my 886 or 4000 tomorrow. That should tell me something. Wondering if...
