Kirby ultimate g diamond for asthma

I have checked fill hose and washed the bag in cold water several times with whisk detergent. Just wondering how the ultimate g is Co. Pared to newer hepa vacuums. I would be willing to take less suction for cleaner air.

Kirby ultimate g diamond for asthma

I noticed the outside of the vacuum is very dusty when done. I currently use the white hepa bags thinking they are better. How is this vacuum for allergies and asthma?

Why no High/Low switch on new Kirby's

How is user error Kirby;s problem when they used to provide a freakin VHS tape for lazy owners to watch....... I still remember the VHS tape that came with the first gen bag phones (cell phones). It was literally pre-school level education. "Dial the number like you would on a regular phone...

Why no High/Low switch on new Kirby's

The Ultimate G Diamond Edition is the only model to have normal delicate or as I call it, High / Low switch. Why do the newer models not have this? The diamond edition is the one and only daily driver, because I can do everything including kitchen & entry rugs in edition to the rest of the...

    Kirby ultimate g rug nozzle

I had an extra g3 that needed more repair than it was worth. The belt lifter was differnt, as well as the bumper trim. I was able to swap the belt lifter to match. The bumper however is so close it is not noticable. Thanks for the tip.

    2 Broken Kirby G3's

That makes sense, neither of my g3s have a centering spring. My g4 doesn't either. I went ahead and cleaned the blocks, pivot assy, and lubed the rollers. Reassembled and it is very acceptable. It is not as nice as the ultimate g diamond, but is usable. As for the g3 that needed the handle...

    2 Broken Kirby G3's

Ok I am not understanding at this point what returns the handle to neutral. I even tore apart my working G4 to look and don't see anything. If I pull back, the machines keep going back. If I push forward it keeps moving forward. I am baffled. On the G4 if I let go, it returns to neutral. I...

    2 Broken Kirby G3's

I am quite familiar with the Heritage II and older models. Not very familiar with the g series. G3 #1: The handle does not stay up on its own as whatever spring is supposed to hold it up broke. Also the handle does not return to neutral, so whatever direction you last had it in, that's where...

    Kirby ultimate g rug nozzle

Sorry, that is a picture I grabbed from the net, so you guys can see what I'm after. Mine has the floor buffer attachment instead of a floor nozzle. Little good that will do.

    Kirby ultimate g rug nozzle

Ended up getting a free ultimate g two speed, aside from it needing a good. Polishing, I am in need of a rug nozzle. Anyone have one laying around as a spare? My intent is to replace my parents classic with the self propelled ultimate g as they are getting up in age and complain how hard it is...

    3 Kirbys

Anyone near Erie, PA care to make an offer on the following Kirbys: D80: Runs nice, motor sounds good, unit is complete with exception to the following; missing the metal emptor, and cloth bag. It does have the green bag hanger cover and hanger. It has a blue tradition plastic handle, in...
