    Hoover's new Sebo Rip off

John, I couldn't agree more...stop fixing something that is not broken. Look at Kirby and Aerus, other than some minor body changes they still have some of best vacuums on the market...and still use bags...what a novel IDEA! Or how about the Sainitaire Upright...still will out clean almost...

Last Call on Kirby T-shirts for the convention

Rex, We are not expecting any big announcements from Kirby during our visit and they have not indicated anything to us. There will be a marvelous tour of the factory along with lunch in the Kirby Diner. I remember our last visit there when we went to Hoover. Kirby treated us like royalty...

Tom, The Kirby Company has made that decision not the VCCC. We are just happy to be a part of what they have to offer us. Barb has done an excellent job organizing and working with the Kirby Company for this convention. I am looking forward to a wonderful time and I am sure the Kirby...

Those were some of teh best vacuums and would outclean many other brands of the day! You put the vibra groomer 1 or 2 along with good airflow and you will out clean most other vacuums.

Which vacuum stands the test of time?

You can never go wrong with a Kirby! They are proven to stand the test of time and have a wonderful life time rebuild as well. I am not a fan of any of the new uprights with onboard tools. Stretch hoses, the cheap tools, along with the added weight to the machine make it clumsy and awkward to...

I need to CLEAR THE AIR!, concerning the newsletter.

Vacmom, You are right, change does happen and will always happen. The thought that many of us are rich and powerful makes me laugh. I live a very simple life in a very simple home with lots of wonderful friends. Our convention costs are very minimal and everyone that attends has a...

Brand New TACONY Canister - the Wonder!

The vacuum looks very nice. I am not a lover of telescoping wands or that style of hose end...to bulky. With that being said, it would still be a first choice vacuum for me. Still a Kirby or Royal person...you can't beat them. Wondering about the noise level for this machine...if it is close...

    2014 VCCC Convention

It was voted on and approved by the membership at a convention. We only have two members presently that don't have computers and if you don't have the ability to scan docs and send them in the formate we need, there are plenty of copy services in every town that can send them in the formate...

    2014 VCCC Convention

Hans, I feel bad that you feel the newsletter is the only product we have to offer...however we have to move with the times. Over my eight years as president, short of beating folks, we can't get anyone to write articles, submit information or even be willing to help with the newsletter. It...

Any Word on NEW Riccar Canister? (getting close to end of year)

George, I have never seen or used a Riccar. One of the vacuum shops here in town sells them. They used to be a Royal Dealer. From photo's I would assume they look like good machines and seem to offer quality tools. Anymore, all vacuums look the same. It is hard to tell one brand from...
