OK, they must have changed their power nozzle supplier for the later models. But I do know that the earlier ones were from Air-Way or Filter Queen. Jeff

I don't know about Whirlpool or Panasonic nozzles being used by Royal, but I believe most of their power nozzles were made by Air-Way or Filter Queen. I'm sure Tom G. would know for sure who built which one. Here's a pic of my model 31X Filter Queen with power nozzle for comparison. Jeff

I agree with what you all have said so far, but in addition, I'd like to see Royal bring back their metal uprights and tanks, but of course that's not going to happen since Royal isn't really Royal anymore. Would be nice to see Air-Way and Silver King make a comeback too! Jeff
