Human, what happened to your Convertible 1020 when you got rid of it 20 years ago?

Human, I happen to found one on eBay for $19.95 plus shipping.

Here’s the switch I removed. I even switched around the brown and black plugs and the vacuum still turns on by itself when I plug it in. I think I might need another switch.

Definitely not original but better than no plug!

Well I tested out the Convertible and it needs a new belt because I noticed it’s lose and the odd thing is the on off switch. When I plug it in and the switch is set on off the vacuum turns on. Anybody had that problem before? But the vacuum sounds really good.

Serial number is 640775. Perhaps ‘70, ‘71?

So it’s been like 4 months I haven’t got any new vacuums for my collection because I’ve been saving a lot of money but last Friday I donated 4 vacuums I don’t use anymore. I got rid my Shark 3 in 1 multivac, Eurekas Power Plus and Airspeed One, and a Dirt Devil Power Stick with wedge edge...

$1,825 + $41.76 = $1,866.76!!!!! Wow that’s a lot of money for a 90 year old vacuum! The last time I saw this on eBay it was around $151 I think.

Royalfan, I did my best polishing. It looks a lot better.

The only thing that was a pain was turning the locking part with a pair of pliers. Know what I’m talking about.
