Let's Compare: Eureka Smart Vac & Hoover Windtunnel Supreme Bagged

I like the Eureka and the Windtunnel the same personally. But they both are better at certain points. The Eureka is much less clog prone, is MUCH quieter and easier to tolerate soundwise, the bag is VERY easy to change, it has a decent Hepa filter design, and it's not as cheap feeling as a S/P...

    The Guardsman FINALLY Came!!

It was ordered on May 5th so it would get here in time for my May 14th birthday but that never happened... VCDiscounter, whom it was ordered from took a month and a half to get it in. Hoover/TTI probably sells so few that they don't stock any in the US and had to wait for them to manufacture it...

    Today's Wonderful Garage Sale Finds

Mighty Mite I've got the Mighty Mite in yellow too, that's the daily driver in our house since we have pretty much all hardwood floors. It sure takes a beating and holds up well too! I LOVE the easy bag change on it, even when I'm not "in the mood" I can readily change the bag in the blink of...

What Is The Current State Of Hoover?

Hoover in my mind has turned into another plastic-vac brand that chooses form over function all the time. I'm a very practical person when it comes to appliances and there appearance, and I just find no appeal in modern "Hoovers". The only vac I can think of they have (besides the commercial...

    new hoover windtunnel air

Like any other "modern" vac, interesting, and interested to hear about how it performs (or doesn't). yeah I didn't learn about the stores chaining there vacs to the wall til I wanted to pull one down and have a real look at it...

Hoover vs Hoover - You Help Decide

joe22 I'm old fashioned, I usually levitate towards high quality, tried and true, or both. The Guardsman meets my "old fashioned" criteria perfectly lol.

Video Of My Eureka Boss Taking On A REALLY NASTY Rug!

Eurekaprince I don't find it any easier to move the switch in any position. I guess it's a common thing amongst the Windtunnel self propelled and the Boss 4870 to have relatively easy to break bare floor switches.

Video Of My Eureka Boss Taking On A REALLY NASTY Rug!

I feel my Eureka is overall better than a Windtunnel, it seems more gentle on the carpet, has more airflow due to it having a relatively short and unrestricted airflow path, the machine is really quiet - I can nearly talk normal toned with it on, the bag system is top fill vs back fill which...

Video Of My Eureka Boss Taking On A REALLY NASTY Rug!

eurekastar I think I read about your issue with the barefloor setting on the Boss while strolling through the archives. Interestingly the bare floor switch on mine doesn't feel like it's always about to break off - I haven't had any issue with it.

    question about the Miele S183

You could do the Tempo if you were looking for a half decent machine under 100 dollars, otherwise another low priced machine would be the Eureka Boss 4870 Smartvac, they're better cleaners than they look and if you look even closer it has a whole separate air channel for the nozzle, and uses a...
