Sebo fan, another thing I just noticed is that your "supervac" is much more expensive than the U.S. hoover "presto" which can normally be found for about 60$ which converts to under 40 pounds! I suppose over here it's a real bargain! Scott

Another thing that I forgot to mention, we will be ripping up most of the carpets in the next month (thank goodness!) in favor of engineered vinyl plank flooring, which is another reason I felt this would be a prudent investment. I'm still loving it, and finding it more difficult to justify...

Update Well, after having this machine for about 2 weeks I have a confession. I haven't used a corded vacuum since. This machine cleans very well on all surfaces. The picture is of what it picks up on an average run through the house. I have also found it great for above the floor cleaning...

beko, I found that the wand from my dc39 fits perfectly, clips on as well. It is the same wand that has been on several dyson canisters, I bet you could find a used one.
