A Crap Load Of Bissell Powerforce Compacts At Wal-Mart

I'm sure everyone is aware that walmart vacuums are of lesser quality than those from the likes of miele, riccar, and kirby. The again, look at the price difference. How much does a bottom of the line riccar cost? Over 200 bucks I'm sure. So is it really any great wonder that it would be a...

I might be able to help, do you know what model it is? Or might you be able to post a picture?

Crazy to like my Shark Rotator Powered Lift Away?

My own opinion is that no one is crazy for liking any vacuum. Everyone has their own tastes and needs, and if the shark works for you then it works for you. I enjoy using vacuums many others consider junk, but hey thats just me. I liked my older shark, I'm only getting rid of it becasue it...

    Hoover Z help

You are correct, it is amazingly clunky and strange in design. Doesn't feel well built either. Honestly those are some reasons I find it interesting. I guess my taste in vacuums is a little different than the norm on here.

    Hoover Z help

My understanding was these were introduced in 2006 prior to tti, who aquired hoover in 2007.

    Hoover Z help

I agree, I have known all along it won't be any good when working. I suspect these will be very hard to find in the future, heck they are nearly impossible to find now. I only really want it as a collectors piece.

    Hoover Z help

I have had a hoover Z400 sitting in my garage for several years now, the machine is fully functional except for one crucial part, the filter. Years ago when I first got the machine I replaced several parts including the filter. However the entire batch of hepa filters that had been most...

    The end of Eureka?

I just made a trip to the local walmart and noticed all the display Eureka vacuums were gone and all remaining stock was on clearance. Does anyone else get the bad feeling this is signaling the end of Eureka? Sad as it may be, when walmart stops stocking a brand it can't be good news. Has...

US DC07 All Floors (here in the UK)

    Modern Eureka scum...

I'll be honest, I don't mind them too much either. Build quality and filtration are bad for sure, but I found the noise level to be on par with many other similarly priced vacs, and I thought they cleaned pretty well.

What's the best way to clean new laminate flooring?

We did almost the same thing late 2014, and since then we've been using Bona for the engineered floors. It cleans great, doesn't streak, and doesn't leave a residue. We were also warned that steam could indeed warp the floor. Hope this helps!

I'm glad it is still going, and that I had the chance to use that machine once. Thanks for sharing, and once again for letting me give it a try many years ago. Scott

    Eureka Express 8200 Question

I have been reading, and no wheel issues to report on my one. I think the wheels are completely plastic, with the machine being nearer to the bottom of the line (I think). The power nozzle absolutely makes that machine, the canister is okay, the hose is meh, but the power nozzle is fantastic...

New ( To me ) Shark Navigator

Nice find, and a good deal too! I like these, and I agree with your pro-con list. I think they clean pretty well, far from the worst machines around IMHO. Of course, the most important aspect of any machine is whether or not YOU like it. Scott

Just bought an Oreck... Information wanted!

I wish I knew how to read the serial numbers on these. I suppose either it was made in 97 or was only the 97th off the line! I think the pocket is a really cool idea too, many models (including my 93' one) also have a pocket on the inside of the outer bag where you could slot a scent tablet...
