Is the Filter Queen 200 still available?

A recent eBay listing shows what appears on the outside to be a Filter Queen 350, but the model number says 500. Would it be reasonable to suppose that a FQ 500 motor has been placed inside a 350 shell? If that's what's happened, could there be any problems down the road? I'm tempted but am...

Thanks, BrianKirbyClass! I can't imagine the design has changed terribly much over the years. The pictures of that awesome chrome 200A from a few years ago show that it had a new hose, so the 200 shouldn't be all that different. Here's hoping!

Hose for Model 200 Filter Queen? Help, all you Filter Queen experts! Will the usual sort of non-electric FQ hose that's available these days fit on a Model 200 Filter Queen? I'd love to have a Model 200 for my collection, but any of the ones being offered recently have needed ALL accessories...

The quietest is my Filter Queen 95x, followed by my Hoover 725 and Hoover 700.

Amazing find! Glad you came along at the right time for this one! Honestly, people are so quick to throw things away. All it takes is a little bit of time and patience to get a machine like this back in shape.

For a replacement bag you might consider the heavy black cotton shakeout bags made for the Kirby 500. I re-fit my Hoover 700 and 725 with these and they look fairly authentic, even without a Hoover logo.
