Hey Terry, suction is pretty good for a stick vac, but I'm shocked how powerful the suction at the hose is, when you switch to above floor cleaning....

Hey Fred, She is a bit of looker and the build quality is not bad either... yep it's straight suction this model is 1100 watts and retails for around 180.00 US... It has a powerhead option and when using the hose it cut suction off to the floor tool... Mark

The GE was a really cool vac I remember growing up, they where also made and sold in Australia before the GE appliances where taken over by Black & Decker . I have four GE's in my collection and love them ... Both of these are US machines I shipped over. Mark
