Hi Ryan, No Hoover have got rid of the suction outlet on the Globe, I do like this model much more than the Slalom.

Just taken it for a test drive around the sitting room, did a good job at grooming the carpet and it's really light and easy to use but it's loud.....

And lastly the rear view, this where you see some key differences, the side mount hose like on a Pure Power, the handle release control is different, likely because the one on the Slalom was crap. And there is no brush roll stop switch but it does have a carpet hight selector on the Globe... It...

The Twist & Steer ball, this is also much bigger then on the Slalom

The head of the unit has to be connected to the body as well as the power connector, much like on many old Hoover US uprights

This is the base model there are three in the rang, I'm sure the price will come down quickly

Well it got delivered this afternoon, had to get one to see what it was like. First impression, its more like a Vax Air /Hoover Windtunnel Air, than it predecessor the Slalom. And you can see Hoover have learnt from some of the faults of the Slalom, it is much smaller and lighter to. Mark

Pick up a mint condition Turbomaster Freedom U5132 this one has not seen a lot of use ... so will replace the beat up one I have...Think the TM's are a very cool looking model. Just needs a good shine up.
