I've been told to get this stuff called plasti-dip (get the clear stuff) and paint it on the woven part of the hose with a brush. That's what other collectors have told me to do.

I would recommend... Using grade 0 steel wool and 409 all purpose cleaner takes all the scuffs off. Then when all the scuffs are off use Mothers head light polish to polish the bumper. Then rub Armor All on it to protect it. This seems to work the best for me. :)
