hood remaval lift up on the name plate band under the light hole. use a flat blade screwdriver, then you can get to the screw and the hood will come off. Chris

bags the air-tec bags are 3 ply cloth type. I sell them in my vac shop, if you need some they are 19.00 for a 8 pack. my contact infow is in my profile. Chris ps stay a way from the white paper bags on line, they are very thin one ply paper and leak dust all threw the vacuum.

greasing Hoover bearings Hoover has a special grease nozzle tip for your grease gun. but you can try pumping some grease in to it, just hold your finger on the other side of the bearing, so the grease forces into the bearing. Chris
