Speaking of VGII's....what type of lubricant is best to maintain those with the SLEEVE bearings?....I have two (a P/N...

    A Purrrr-tey Eureka!

I agree with Kyle that these vinyl bags do not filter very well, if at all..... I had thought about getting one of these and try to dye it a blue color that would go with the vac...not sure how that would look though....... Filtration & cloth bags aside...... I would love to find a blue vinyl...

    Kirby Tradition Question...

Yes, some traditions had the old style shake out bag...and some were converted with a fill tube and used paper bags. If the zipper on the bag runs the full length of the bag then that bag should be used with a paper bag and should have a fill tube inside. If the bag only has a small zippered...

Kirby D 50 San Handy Butler/ What color was orig electric cord?

Heritage II I think the Heritage/Legend series were all like the Heritage II pictured here. The 2 position safety/speed switch is the black plastic thing on the right. The carpet head, shampoo head, etc had a pin that would depress the switch ( metal tab at top of switch case) half way for...

    Royal Canister Pictures

Logan, WOW what a great Royal canister! Love that color....The power nozzle looks like a good performer....but that hose is really nice....how long is it? One of my biggest pet peeves are canisters, with short hoses, nipping at your heels while you vacuum! LOL

    Eureka Ironside Pics

Hey Guys- working on my power nozzle for the Eureka above.....I have only greased brushrolls with ball bearings until now. What type of lubricant is used here? I only have general purpose (EP lithium complex) ball bearing grease or white/clear silicone grease on hand. Thanks, Michael
