Brush strips Yay! The belts for this were easy enough to find, I found them on eBay but also was surprised to see them at the Hoover store, Hoover.com. But, looks like new brush strips for the brush roll are going to be a real challenge. If anyone out there knows where to find them, please let...

Canister I tend to favor uprights over canisters....but in this case I would definitely go for the canister. It looks to be in great shape! Good luck....hope you get the one you want.

Air Freshener directions from the Model 516 Instruction book. Not sure of the first model that had this....but I just looked at my 512 & it has the Sweet Aire dispenser...as far as I know it is the original em-tor to the vacuum.

These bulbs usually last a long time.....my local vac guy told me a trick he uses. He said most of the time it is the silver tip that wears down and doesn't make good contact with the socket. Use a soldering iron and add solder to the tip.....I did that and the bulb is still working after 10...
