    Hoover Commercial Windtunnel Habitat Find

Well, whatever their website says, I know what I've paid for mine and it was nowhere near $520. It's a great machine but I would never pay that much for it.

    Hoover Commercial Windtunnel Habitat Find

$520? I've never paid more then $350 for one. Usually less than that even and I have 3 of them.

    Koblenz Vacuums

NOT a big fan of them here. When I was working for a cleaning company that worked predominately in elementary and middle schools, they replaced a Sanitaire with one once. Never again. The Koblenz didn't make the length of the school year. It wasn't abused but it just didn't hold up.

    Which brushroll to get?

I have a plastic hood I could send you for the cost of shipping. It isn't brand new, but it's in good condition.

    Which brushroll to get?

Yes, that was the intended purpose of the Quick-Kleen housing.

Why we collect the vacs we collect???

For me, I'm most partial to the models and brands that my family had growing up, which primarily consisted of Hoover, Singer (from the 50s), Eureka, Electrolux, Fantom, and a few others along the way that I've developed my own interest in. Also, the majority of machines I own and grew up...

I'm HEEEEEERE again, in the Holy Land!

He's the best, Dan! He's servicing the vacuums from my church now. The maintenance men destroyed them but John is making them new again! What a guy! A fantastic person and a brilliant serviceman.

I'm HEEEEEERE again, in the Holy Land!

In defense of the Hoover store, that Dyson was abandoned in favor of a HOOVER Platinum Series corded stick vac. It's sitting in the corner awaiting the next visit from the scrap collector man.

"Light"-en up, John! All in good fun!

I'm HEEEEEERE again, in the Holy Land!

John, we were so impressed with your haul of beautiful hoover cleaners that we nearly fainted! It's a good thing that John had these lying around to reenergize from the shock of those boxes!

    Seeking metal Electrolux canister

I paid nothing for the vacuum and it's REALLY beat up. I'm not brave enough to tear into an Electrolux and nobody around here will work on the metal body models.

    Seeking metal Electrolux canister

Hey all, I'm looking to buy an Electrolux canister, preferably a Super J, Silverado, Diamond Jubilee, Grand Marquis, or UltraLux. Which of these models is unimportant to me, as long as it's in good running order. Cosmetic condition also does not matter, as this would my "workhorse vacuum"...

A much better and improved video of my 1974 Eureka Commercial Vacuum Cleaner

Great job getting this machine back up and running the way it should. For me personally, I much prefer the roar of the 7 amp pancake motor used on the commercial Eureka and Sanitaire uprights. It just sounds more rugged and "this vacuum means business" to my ears. But again, congrats on...

    East Coast Oreck Restoration Facility

If you think that Oreck is bad, take a peek into the repair room of a vac shop. What you'll see may turn your stomach a full 360. Some of my mintiest vacuums were preserved under layers of filth older than Rick :P (Ducks and runs FAST!!!! Just kidding, Rick!!!)

Hoover Windtunnel dirt cup issue - Hoover's response

I would advise going. If he's anything like my Hoover dealer here, he'll fix you up with exactly what you need very reasonably.

Hoover Windtunnel dirt cup issue - Hoover's response

Instead of calling TTI/Hoover to complain, why didn't you call your nearest Factory Authorized Warranty Service Center? I'm sure your local Hoover dealer would be happy to get you a replacement bin for your Hoover. Yes, it is a fairly bottom of the line model, but they clean very well, and are...

I want to sell my orange 80's hoover convertible

Those are great cleaners. I just got my hands on an absolutely mint version of that same model. If nobody else snaps it up, I might be interested just to have a spare hood, base, bag, etc.

    Hoover Legacy

About the shipping cost? I did get it, and I don't know what it would cost without finding a box, disassembling the machine, packaging it, and taking it to FedEx.

    Hoover Legacy

Didn't I email you about this very model of vacuum yesterday evening offering you one for a steal of a price? If you're not interested in my machine, say so off the forum. A post like this tells me that you have no intention of buying my machine and would like to find a better deal (good luck)
